Empowered Billing Solutions ( EBS ) provides medical credentialing for all healthcare providers who are eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance carriers. Medical credentialing enables healthcare providers to utilize the patient’s insurance to pay for medical services performed. It is important for healthcare providers to be credentialed with major insurance carriers in their area to be able to serve a diverse population of patients and grow the practice.
Information needed to begin credentialing:
- Board Certifications ( if applicable)
- DEA certificate
- Medical license
- Malpractice insurance certificate
- W9
- Up to date CV with all educational and work history
- PECOS (Medicare applications portal)
- Information on hospital admitting privileges or admitting arrangements ( If required)
- CAQH Proview
Steps we take to get you credentialed
- Gather all documents and information needed for credentialing
- Verification of all documents needed for credentialing
- Assist in obtaining missing documents
- Application submission to payers
- Follow up with payers until the applications are processed
